Initial Situation

The statistics system is a vital tool for tracking the number of clients across MIELI’s various crisis support channels. During the COVID-19 pandemic, data generated by the system was instrumental in creating a national overview of population well-being and distress. This information attracted significant interest from stakeholders.


Implementation

The web application has been maintained by Orangit since 2019. In collaboration with MIELI, Orangit has improved the system’s reliability by implementing comprehensive monitoring and enhancing error-handling processes. Additionally, new features have been developed to meet client needs, and the application’s security has been consistently updated.


Results

Through continuous maintenance and minor development, MIELI has ensured the critical reliability of the statistics system. The system provides up-to-date information on service usage and user volumes to its stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
